Workshop/seminars on specific topics
The Italian Union of Thermal-Fluid Dynamics organizes workshops and Seminars on specific topics, with the aim of creating a discussion forum in some areas. Such events are not devoted to specialists, but are open to all those who wish to have an idea of the state-of-the-art on hot topics.
In the recent past workshop/seminars have been organized on microscale heat transfer, hydrogen and energy, optical and thermographic techniques in thermal sciences.

UIT Summer School in Thermal Fluid Dynamics
The UIT Summer School in Thermal Fluid Dynamics is currently scheduled on yearly basis. The school is mainly addressed to PhD and post-doc students, though no restriction in application is enforced, and is typically scheduled in the first week of September.› View

UIT Prizes
UIT presents every year a prize for the best Italian Master thesis in thermal fluid dynamics, and, on a two-year basis, a prize for the best Italian PhD thesis in thermal fluid dynamics. The prizes testify the attention of the association to new generations of researchers. The list of all the winners is reported.› View
